Teaching Materials for Applied Econometrics

Here you will find the notes I used to teach the final review session for the Harvard Kennedy School’s PhD Applied Econometrics course in Spring 2018. It offers a re-wind of the course, starting with the last topics covered in the course and progressing back to the start of the semester, which explains its fairly non-intuitive topic progression.

As part of the same course, I also pulled together an introduction to GMM for applied micro-economists, which provides some intuition behind the common Instrumental Variables (IV) estimator.
